mermaid songs

Contributed by lostrelic on Wednesday, 28th December 2005 @ 06:29:50 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

rain dripping like poision black in the veins
wiping memory dissolving all my pain
if i asked for death for christmas is that selfish act
but if its what i really want it just a little fact

serenity and insanity all aspects of the mind
dripping like a junkies rig the vision so unkind
pain and pleasure a thought between the real and the unjust
never understanding mans point of view this i do not trust

mermaid songs and hippie bongs litter my past view
just glimpses of the olden days something im working threw
walking threw this mind circus a freak show on display
watching how people look at me when i walk in your way

people trust the things that rust and idols on the stand
just forgetting the family bond or the nature of the land
animals live and just survive this is all they know
they should teach us toghterness so we can drop the show
