Something phenomenal has occurred what could it be?

Our times of laughter together we shared, we could no longer see!
Its always start out right in the beginning, candle lights,
then dinner under a moonlight.
Our mind & body caresses every moment
While fantasies are being fulfilled
Not a dream deferred
Can it ever be so simple?
With a love once shared & a pain no man could bare.
What’s this phenomenal thing occurring?
Whatever it is “we must focus on & see
But keeping mind the key word is “we”
which is now “me”
A relationship lasting no longer than what it started out to be….

I really enjoyed this poem. I loved the lines "But keeping mind the key word is “we”
which is now “me”
A relationship lasting no longer than what it started out to be…." a great ending to a wikid awesome poem with an intriguing beginning and message.
