I watch you sleep
and I want
to stay with you until
I meet you here
but I know
I'll wake up soon
I see you dream
and I need
to join you there
I feel you breathe
and I try
to synchronise heartbeats
I leave my prints
on the window
a misty cloud there where I breathed
a planted kiss
on your forehead
before I sail back out to sleep

| Thanks guys. Your comments mean a lot. Just want to point out that the last word should be 'sleep', not 'sea'. I keep changing my mind about this, but I think 'sleep' is more relevant. Maybe. |
