Messiah will never return

Contributed by Vanessa on Monday, 26th December 2005 @ 09:29:18 PM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

Comes the time of fear and pain
The human race is bleeding away
The earth covered by ashes and flesh
Dying in terrible decay
Freezing winds freezing it all
What fire hasn't burnt
Blackened blood flooding the graves
Messiah will never return

........
.....
...
..
.

Unholy words of ancient prophecy
Now come true - the dead rise from hell
Toxic storms attack from the sky
Spreading the light of deadly pleasure
Nuclear mutants buried alive
In blasting dust of dying world
Atomic falls putrefy human brains
The living dead creep in bloody bog
The lord of hate was awaken by death
Before you die, can see the end!

All will burn in his breath
His eyes paralyze every life
The demons wheel above his head
Like vultures seeking the flesh
All will burn in his breath
His eyes paralyze every life
All demons transformed into grubs
To make the globe a stinking rot

Born to destroy the holy ghost to the end
Now finished wars of God
His name is the Exterminator
Covering the earth with vaporous rot
The real messiah reborn in flames
Creator was the hell
He's killer of the world of the living
The dead worship his majesty

Comes the time of wrath and death
Heaven has turned blood-red fire
Crucified souls vomiting the blood
In embrace of mortal desire
Freezing winds that froze that all
What fire has already burnt
Blackened blood flooding the corpses
Messiah will never return!
!No return

Midnight and they're here, midnight
Midnight..... Life after death

started a search to no avail
a light that shines behind the veil trying to find it
and all around us everywhere
is all that we could ever share if only we could see it
feel there's truth that's beyond me
life ever changing weaving destiny

and it feels like i'm flying above you
dream that i'm dying to find the truth
seems like your trying to bring me down
back down to earth back down to earth

layers of dust and yesterdays
shadows fading in the haze of what i couldn't say
and though i said my hands were tied
times have changed and now i find i'm free for the first time
feel so close to everything now
strange how life makes sense in time now

and it feels like i'm flying above you
dream that i'm dying to find the truth
seems like your trying to bring me down
back down to earth back down to earth
back down to earth back down to earth

This is very off the wall. You should have stopped after the 1st stanza. Sometimes, less is more. This is one of those time. The first stanza was terrific. The rest just became insanity in print.

while this was well written it was full of lies
straight from satan who is the Father of Lies.
Jesus will come back and only He knows the
hour of His return and of course satan will
say that since its taken him over 2000 years
for him to do so that he won't, but He will
because Jesus operates on his own
timetable. The world is a scary place to live in
because God has given every one free will
and satan uses that to his advantage to
corrupt people and to spread lies amongst
the Lord's children... I have listened to those
lies and by reading your poem you have given
in to those lies.
There is forgiveness in Christ and He wants
you to return to Him. In Him there is hope and
joy and love and in Satan there is hopelessness,
despair and hate. It is hard to turn to Christ I
admit, but He is waiting for you to make the
choice since He longs for you to be free of
His enemies chains. I wish I could say I had
all the answers, but only Jesus does.

Trust in Him,
Joel

There's some fantastic imagery in this piece - it was definitely worth spending the time on it and I'm impressed that you've managed to spend so long on a piece and still make it seem like it was all written in one go if that makes sense. Well done!
