A flower in a meadow of darkness
Beckons to me like beating hearts
I fall to my knees to observe
Only petals of black I do see
Soft as silk and dark as night
A unique gem of agony and pain
I try to pull it with my grasp
Its taint removed from earth
The shadows clear
Then sun will shine
In the light no more fear no more chaos
This black flower wilts and dies
Those graceful petals now razors
What was a stem is bone
Glass is now its leaves
Oh how fragile this flower
I slip away into its taint
The painful darkness consumes
I loose my grip of all that I was
The black wildflower in me
