hey there hayley girl
let's give this thing a whirl
i once was lost but now you're found
and i'm so tired of ramblin' 'round

i'll go anywhere and do anything
to be nearer to the joy you bring
your whispers in the dark are a heavenly sound
and i'm so tired of ramblin' 'round

there is no distance or time that could come between
me and the sweet girl i've never even seen
maybe one day we'll settle it all down
'cause i'm so tired of ramblin' 'round
