Someday I wil find someone
Who will never leave my side
Someday I'll be old enough
To have nothing to hide
Someday all these things that I find
So important now
Will have vanished from my memory
And though I don't know when or how

Someday
I'll have someone to hold close
One day
I'll lose the one I love the most
Someday
Ev'rything will be alright
But someday
Doesn't matter 'til it gets here
Until then I'm gonna hold you here
And pretend that this is right

Someday I'll know just how it feels
To live up to my mistakes
Somehow I don't think loving you
Will be the worst one that I make
Someday when all is said and done
And looking back they'll see I had no one
But you to put a smile on my face
Maybe someday they won't find me a disgrace

Someday
I'll be missing you at night
One day
I'll have no one to hold me tight
Someday
You won't be the one for me
But someday
It won't matter 'til it gets here
Until then I'm gonna hold you here
The only thing that's left for me

Someday I will find someone
