lession not learned

Topic: DarkPoetry

lost i am without a friend a endless chat alone
hearing a ring in distant past it's ever ending drone
pictures fade and love betrayes a part of growing up
goverments screaw thats what they do and we wonder why life sucks
kingdoms fall and we all grow old but we race this thing called age
forgetting the stories we all build we tear another page
dust to dawn we all long for peace in this life
but we cant control our own familys anger we all walk with strife
hearing songs that weep about loss from a childs voice
being born with out a chance knowing we had no choice
this scared little voice that calls out to me
he wants to taste freedom he wants me to walk free
looking for you with closed eyes looking for love in the black
knowing that love isn't found this way i still run from that fact
we all want something we all cant get
but thats out fault we live with that regreat
i still bump into walls my lesson not learned
i know one day something will turn

Quite a bit going on in this thought-provoking piece! Nicely done. Some lessons are easier to forget than others: )
