I'm sorry

I never meant to yell at you
Or to argue with you
Or to talk down to you

I'm sorry

I never mean to hurt your feelings
Or to make you cry
Or to make you sad

I was just expressing my emotions
At the time
And I don't even remember what I said
Is that a crime?

I'm sorry

I never meant to speak my mind
I was only just reacting to the situation
I may have acted wrong, but then again
I am only human
I ain't no saint, all the time

But listen, I'm sorry

For everything I ever did wrong
Please just tell me what I did wrong
So I never do it again
So I never do it again
But maybe I'll do it again
I'm only human
I ain't no saint, all the time

Please forgive me
I know you might not care
Anyway

Please forgive me
I didn't mean to share
My mind
Anyway

I'm sorry
What I said I didn't mean
But you were wrong as well
What I said was kind of mean
But you'll get over it
I may not

Never apologize for being honest, no matter how much it hurts. Without honesty, we have no direction. Just my two cents, of course.

Keep on keepin' on (being honest).
