When I look into your eyes,
You made me feel like I could fly.
I held you tight,
Even if there was a fight.
I kept you near,
Away from your fear.
How did you do this to me,
I thought it was meant to be.
You made me wish that I would die,
But all I did was sit and cry.
You were my life,
And my soul.
You were my cure,
You wipped my tear.
And now that your gone away from thee,
All I want to do is run and flee.

not bad....poetry doesn't have to be perfect...you're writing it to express yourself it seems....venting....it's ok to write down your thoughts....they don't have to be in the most amazing words......good job!
