Christmas Friends

Merry Christmas, I want to say
To every Friend who lives away
Either you’re near, or even far
How precious to me they always are

Merry Christmas, I want to say
To every Soldier who's stationed away
Our prayers are with you and we shed a tear
That you’re not with us at this time of year

Merry Christmas, I want to say
To the Lonely whose families live away
May a phone call bring you close
At the moment you miss them the most

Merry Christmas, I want to say
To Anyone who pines away
And does understand the joy that comes
Of celebrating Jesus, the newborn son

Merry Christmas!
