A Windless Sea

There is a sea without squalls,
That threatens you with death,
It tosses you about,
And takes away your breath.
But just take down your sails,
And ride the unruly waves,
Because a boat without wind,
Your very life, it saves.
But is to take them down,
Scornful to the wind?
I really think not,
For it is it that has sinned.
‘Cause a sea without wind,
Is like a shark without teeth,
And if you want to survive,
You will wear such a sheath.
