LoveRemembered
|
I saw you off in the distance walking towards me
Our eyes met, our souls touched I felt my inhabitations go free
I was sure you were lonely a self imposed outcast just like me
For that brief moment on a busy street
I should have made a move opened my mouth showed my heart
But my inhibitions rose up a wall keeping us forever apart
Our love never even got a chance to start
I let you go
I’m such a fool,
I let another one get away
and I’ll probably never see you again

Sweet, in a word.
I guess that happens to many of us every day... Immagine where we would be of we were to express our feelings a little more.
Great poem. |
