Her aroma lingers
stalks my solitude
of forgotten nocturnal years

I breathe night
smell her motion
while silent pads prod
to soften my determination

given to remember
over and again
before dawn
we lapped
warm
milk

I like the shape... kinda like stalking a prey and getting closer to it. Also... this line:
