ReleasedRequiem

Contributed by SensitiveSoAbused on Tuesday, 20th December 2005 @ 09:23:06 PM in AEST
Topic: ThankYouPoems

Cosmic eruption of the sky and I’m drenched in bright blue!!

Let me not run away,
nor try to conceal
floods of lava majestic of your eyes
in mine for you!!

No and I shan’t stop
grinning with your lips
or smiling with your eyes…

Impale my heart, gracious splendoured icicle!
Melt into my body with searing smouldering agony,
a passion-fevered temperature to consume and cremate me,

incinerate the incubus
O succulent succubus,

Consume me with your firetouch and teeth…

Eat me as I you will
you take me far from delicious desires
are deadly, thee are with thy fires,
spread fragmented bones all round this pyre,

…Released
Requiem…

wow I can't believe I am the first to comment
on this... to put it bluntly this is stinking
amazing. Such strong writing was exhibited
within every line. Most of your poems are
longer, but I think the shortness of this one
added to the overall "appeal" of the write.

"spread fragmented bones all round this pyre,"

Loved that line the most as obviously some
images leapt into my mind. Once again a
wonderful write I can't praise it enough.
