Alone

Of all the things we fear the most
Lonlyness the terrored host
led to believe were not alone
ignoring all the signs are shown
after all the time we've spent
with our goals togeather bent
all our chances thus been thrown
you find that you are all alone

sometimes we should spend the time
to reminisce a simple rhyme
you never let the conflict show
if we should let the problem go
even though we go to bed
with solotude inside our heads
we all believe when we are grown
we will not be all alone

To be forgotten is worse than death
and oh to feel anothers breath
embraced in eachothers arms
guarded from the worldly harms
this is how we long to be
love togetherness sorrow free
but oft we wonder how we would atone
to end up being all alone

Some are quick to end the deal
dispite how it will make you feel
without even looking back
in your heart another crack
a void thats left inside your soul
is the outlook of your goal
after all the faith is thrown
you wind up being all alone

so whether you are by yourself
a dusted object on a shelf
or if your family loves you so
and never wants to let you go
well be together when were alive
and well be alone when we have died.

Very touching to me. In all honesty I must say, This poem describes the lonelyness I feel inside. Longing to be held by that one person. this is a very good poem. Tears actually whelled up in my eyes. Great job.
