I lay here, comfortable, in the harsh wind
And I find my mind wandering to you
Why I don't follow, I can't comprehend
There's no reason, at least not one that's true
I find most things stop when you're here, like time
Or my heart (forgets it's occupation)
But the broken churchbell that's lost it's chime
Thinks you've made quite an evil creation
I try to forget you, but you won't leave
My mind wanders back to where we first met
My body follows, as a way to grieve
I guess some people are hard to forget
But even the churchbell knows it was right
As his sympathies go unheard through the night
