How Much Does She Know?

How much does she know?
I'm suspect
My scars haven't faded enough for change
Endurance, I want to believe
I was young and unaware
I held on to fear so tight
Troubled youth is mine to blame
How much does she know?
Her faith
Am I opening Pandora’s Box?
I turned the knob to make sure it was locked
Simplicity isn't my nature
So read between the lines
I'm admitting my flaws
And I'm coming clean
I've used until there was no loss
It never meant much
A cryptic flow
I thought they were perfect
Pictures tell no truth
How much does she know?
I'll linger in Limbo
I dream it's over
But it's only just began
My discernment told me so
My life was all in blasphemy
Forgiveness wasn't part of the deal
The hypocrisy was so defined
At least I proclaim no faith
How much does she know?
The number's never been changed
It is their weapon to love
The only reason
I secretly hold hope
But I can't give back
And I can't take away
Sometimes I pretend something was there
Luckily,
Only I understand scribbles on blue paper
What was the purpose?
No accomplishment on my epitaph
It goes deeper than moronic views
I'm an unashamed antagonist in every story
This story's been left unfinished
And it's no fairytale
This time, will it be real?
Salvation is only mere words
I wanted to prove my worth
Instead I became my own worst enemy
Sometimes I laugh at consequence
I'm not a proud girl
Regret is for the guilty heart
Rage is for the wounded
Sociopath views and tendencies
Only my pain was my gain
Seeking solace in a selfish place
I turned bitter so quick as I turned my back
I am still here
She was no modern day saint
How much does she know?
I was broken
And she needed something to fix
But piece by piece
It's never enough
Hiding my face has become routine
Every night, I sleep with the enemy
I became engulfed in cliché death rhymes
And manipulated each page
The stories been written
Every page is turned
I know
She knows

Awsome write!!! I love this poem I could relate to it aswell. Not knowing how much someone knew about me or an event.

I was young and unaware
I held on to fear so tight
Troubled youth is mine to blame
How much does she know?

When I read that part I was drawn into the poem.
Keep up the great writing.
-Jen
