starving knowlage

Contributed by lostrelic on Monday, 19th December 2005 @ 05:55:21 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

you will find me in the dark if your looking for light
finding freedom from insight not in the bright
looking in the past a reminder with ease
trying to find understanding floating in the breeze

fumbling around like a top spinning on a roof
lost in a angle slipping from the truth
slipping and slidding with the greatest of ease
trying not to fall on my bruised up needs

cold winter blast keeping me in place
to bloody cold to run any with the human race
nourished by knowlage sickened by lies
eyes bleeding from pollutants thats filling the skies

anger and lonilyness feelings strong this season
but no excuss to give up and no real reason
they say suicide rises this time of year
it kinda makes me want to tear

well life and love are not easy things
but were are what we can only bring
existence is not a pretty flower
life is to wild and like to devour

but that is a simple way to explain those things
we all walk around with broken wings
pure we are not but atleast we try
to help the world also reaching for the sky
