Counting Them Down
~~~~~
Like a little kid
I count them down
Six days left
Till Santa’s in town
On his sleigh
There’s a present for me
I can hardly
Wait to see
Beautiful paper
With a big red bow
It’s still exciting
No matter how old you grow
So Santa remember
I’ve been good
I’ve done everything
You said I should
So could you please?
Remember me
And put something special
Under the Christmas tree
Place it right
Beside my son’s
For we’re both counting down
Until you come
