Song of Life

Contributed by ladyfawn on Saturday, 25th January 2003 @ 01:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Can we tell what may happen to us in this strange medley of Life?
Why do some beings live in bliss; and yet some only raw strife?
~
What we do with it, how we take it, is that not what counts in the end?
Life, 'tis it the thing held dearest, within' only the love one sends?
~
Should we feel inherently validated to seek and ascertain Life's truth?
Yet, questioning of Life's purpose, we need eloquence and honest couth..
~
What melody or beauty gives that which excites Life's vigor and spirit?
Life is it in ones soul, or heart, or with the ears must one hear it?
~
As Life brings questions to us, each fall, spring, winter and summerlong,
Should we not experience these things, in all manner of Life's song?
