night of cold

Contributed by glassicallyunsuperficial on Sunday, 18th December 2005 @ 11:22:45 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Living in athe screams of solitude
every night another nightmare
no place to hide
to releae the anguish
hidden deep inside
can you hear me cry?

soundless sobs no one hears
they run away at the sight of invisible fears
a rush of faded shadows that once stood by
but also gave up
a little faith
it disappeared into nothingness
who an light another candle
candle of hope

Patches of red
they scream out for attention
all they need is a little medicine
that will heal the pain they hold

Goosebumps;they rise again
in yet another hope to be given warmth
all they need is a little cloth
that will fend off yet another thrashing
another night of cold

Yeah..I totally agree to the state at hand of those abandoned kids who are left in the streets to be kicked by just about anyone...
you placed the words really well.
Good write!

I like this one a lot. The pictures it paints with words are clear to me.
