Pattern of Refinement

Patterns of refinement blurred by dissatisfaction
Transgressions and complaints pile up in her head
She searches constantly for answers
Without a word from her mouth she seeks
Finding a perfect foil for her senses
Fosters it until it flowers
A bloom so sweet it devours
Reality steps back and lets her go
In circles seeking pleasure she finds him
Perfectly aligned to her meaning
He accepts her challenges
The checks and the balances
Everything tallies to zero
And she knows the answer before the question
He sees her falling from the highest mountain
He closes his eyes to make her invisible
And she soars out of sight into darkness
