How Do You Heal

Contributed by Lyssa on Sunday, 18th December 2005 @ 06:09:17 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

How do you heal the broken heart when I’m sorry isn’t enough?
Kisses and hugs are no longer accepted
Love seems a fictional word although still true
Gifts are shallow
And any words at all seem fake
What do you tell the only person you love that you were wrong?
That you made so many mistakes
That you were scared to loose them yet pushing them away
How do you tell them that you miss them more and more everyday?
They may have moved on and they would never let you know
How do you deal with love closing you out?
You both thought of reasons to run away
Both of possible others
Who is left?
How long will that last?
Are they happier now?
The question is are they happier without each other or with others
If happiness is the key to life have they lost that key?
Will it ever be returned if it was?
Will the jealousy corrupt them both?
Will their trust be lost forever?
They both hope not
Will their bad dream end?
If it does, how does it end?
Separate completely?
End up together?
End up with others with a strong friendship?
If they knew do you think they’d be mad at each other?
Do you think either would be hurting?

Wow I can totaly relate to this on the love part. This was a good poem. I really enjoyed reading it, I wrote a similiar poem that I think kind of refers to this poem. If you could please read The Chronicles Of The Five Days. Keep up the good work. SLipSiX.

I find so much truth in your words.
