Christmas Sauce

Contributed by spike on Friday, 16th December 2005 @ 07:09:44 PM in AEST
Topic: Holiday Poetry

You, me and the mistletoe,
The holly isn’t just for show
Kiss me quick as the pudding cools,
Tree and presents, family jewels
Carol’s by the candlelight,
If she leans too close her hair’s alight
You, me and the mistletoe,
The holly isn’t just for show

Warming egg nog, liquored up,
Everybody raise their cup
Red red noses shining bright,
No need for Xmas lights tonight
You, me and the mistletoe,
The holly isn’t just for show
Squeeze me tight as the turkey rests,
I know that you prefer the breasts

Uncle Rudolph, be a dear,
Lighten up our Christmas cheer
Tell some jokes about the man
Who swapped his reindeer for a van
You, me and the mistletoe,
The holly isn’t just for show
Run your fingers through my hair,
Your special gift is just down there

You, me and the mistletoe
The holly isn’t just for show
You, me and the mistletoe
The holly isn’t just for show!!

You got me literally laughing out loud here --- more than once! What a riot!!!

Geez - I never know what I'm going to find when I stop by your page... but I always enjoy it. This one (*giggles*) was a bright spot in an otherwise grey day. I swear a few of those lines will probably cause me to break out in a giggle in the middle of a completely unrelated moment/conversation at some point today. lol

Fun stuff!

Well, Spike, after crying a couple rivers and shaking my head in wonderment of your talents, I think after reading this one and laughing, I'll move on from serendipity to more responsible deadlines in my day.
Thank you for your gifts to all of us!
