21st century Gothic saturnine.
Armageddon getting closer.
Running out of time.
Is it spreading apathy?
SLOTH infested souls.
Is it rage, ever angry?
WRATH will take it's toll.
Coveting what others have,
could ENVY be our curse?
Is it PRIDE that motivates,
or is it something worse?
Excessive needs, in-satiate,
GREEDy to the core!
Tables laden, saturate,
we're GLUTTONous for more.
Then there's sadomasochism,
twisted LUSTs galore.
The seven deadly sins,
we're guilty of them all!
21st century Gothic saturnine,
Armageddon getting closer.
Running out of time!

all of my favorite things.
i like the theme....and the attention made in bold to the "7 sins".
Sins or not?
Regardless...good rhyme scheme and sound content.

I liked Seven too. It was really good. I read a book about a guy with dogs with the names of the 7 sins and 7 like good things. It was intresting you'd choose the sins to express your talent, It was really good.

| Jenny, This reminds me of the movie Seven, with Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman. They kept finding people murdered, by way of each deadly sin. Creepy write. Peace, Laura |
