Knowing what she wants to hear,
Knowing how to wipe her tears,
Knowing when to say them words,
Knowing not to call them birds,
Knowing how to make them smile,
Knowing how to make it last for the while,
Knowing when to say I do,
Knowing when to say I love you,
Knowing just what to say,
Knowing when to play,
Knowing her life like no other,
Knowing her better then her mother,
Knowing how to treat her right,
Knowing never to say goodnight.

all the "knowing" was an eye sore
truth be told
still i feel yer emotion
respect is the biggest thing
have love and respect
seems the best ones dont
even get that

I liked this and it seems your on the right path to making her happy and treating her right
the last line though
never to say goodnight I felt you were trying to rhyme which is fine but a word of advice
the waking moments and last moments of the day are the special always say goodnight and I love you
smiles
