The Aftermath
Vesicant sunrise drifts across
a mustard yellow field strewn
with silvery leafs. Paint drips
from buildings onto a street of
oozing rainbows and windows
are sheets of worthless diamonds.
In the forest nude trees fall in
hushed harmony and calm as
blind mirrors are lakes of death,
forever beautiful and silent.
