Perfection in silence

Contributed by socialmisfit on Wednesday, 14th December 2005 @ 04:42:45 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

imagine perfection
hold it in your mind
mull it over a bit
let its sweetness
sweep you away from here
and feel the weight
of the universe slip
away.....
imagine this love
only for you...
embrace the thought
let it rob reality from you
and perhaps

your breath as well
embrace it well...
for imagination
is only were it dwells
hibernating as
my soul doth sleep
away from the world
kept safe
as i...
tread through the shattered
stained glass memories
of life
reminding myself
"there is more than this"
....i need more than this
strange aint it?
seeing life this way
disclosure of this light
when all around is dark
so out of...
...sight
strange how one can envision
such beauty in the dark
but the presence of god
is only felt when things
are going
right....
strange how nothing has meaning
but through the history
of memories
like footsteps in the snow
fading to the
ever distant enigma
of yesterday
falling like snowflakes
falling to land so gently
and fade
as all things beautiful do
this is my life
all day falling
(fading)
watched by the sway
of leaves
played by the whispering breeze
expelled in the soft breath
calling out
your name
as i lay
dreaming
i don't want
to wake from this
painless sleep
this hurtles silence
leave me here
in this solitude
cover me in
this blanket of white
and maybe tomorrow
my imagination
can be set free
and i can offer you
a path to heaven
and lead you from your hell

Yes Emystar is so right. This is very very thought provoking dear Social Asset.

I just love the lines"

reminding myself
"there is more than this"
....i need more than this
strange aint it?

Oh we want so much more than just memories. Memories belong to the past, but only we have that thing called "T
" it will be withdrawn when HE wills it.
"the heart finds no rest until it lies with Thee! " says St. Augustin.
Beautiful Slcial Asset!

Blessings
Elizabeth
