Suicide

Contributed by Slipknot555666 on Friday, 24th January 2003 @ 04:40:00 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I take the knife and slide it across my wrist.
As the blood drips down, I make a fist.
The fist clenches a note to those I loved and cared for,
But they never cared for me. As I think about my life,
I feel my heartbeat fade. I hear my breath, and it's getting
Lower. I close my eyes, and feel them turning gray. I wait
for my new life, and it's coming soon. As I take my last breath,
I whisper one word. The word says how I felt, how I thought and
how I dealt. Hate, was the word. I know you knew that, cause that's
all I felt from you. If you read my note, you would have known what to do.
To say three words to me would have kept me alive a little longer.
But I'm gone now, and I'm feeling stronger. You remember I tried, right before
I committed this suicide.

Yes... the poem said it all. So beautifully sad. I hope to read more from you.
