Let Me Go

Contributed by Slipknot555666 on Friday, 24th January 2003 @ 04:20:00 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Let me go.

Everything is torn,
All I do now is mourn,
Wishing I was never born...

Let me go.

Someone just kill me, please,
Slit my throat, slit my wrists,
Kill me tonight...

Let me go.

This world is so cold,
I feel so sad, so lonely,
No one cares...

Let me go.

Let me go let me disappear,
Let me fall apart,
My life is so unclear...

Let me go.

What are you waiting for?
Please tell me, I just want to know.
I'm done trying,
I'm done looking for answers,
I'm done living...

Let me go,
I could have died, but please don't cry,
It's what I wanted,
Now, let me go.

I see a lot of myself in this poem. You write with a lot of maturity and strength for a 14 yr.old hopefully u can let out your pain in these poems. Don't give up hope.

Dear child, I urge you to talk to someone, those feelings should not be in one as young as you, life is to beautiful a thing to do, those years soon will pass and so will those thoughts, Its all part of growing, there is a reason for all of us, no-matter how young or old you are, you have a purpose here, please don't give up,
