Spoining

Contributed by tiggytom on Tuesday, 13th December 2005 @ 08:43:23 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Spoiled by the touch of your hand
Pure as it was deep in your heart
Now tainted its become
By the sleight hand touch of the one

Whom by popular myth is the man of the sun
Untried and true is the higher thought
Of the sentinal being, being clever in thought
Then that of the lost, the ones without cause

Without a light to guide you on through
This place of emptiness it dwells on you
Outshining one another to promote the who?

The cream of the crop, the better fellow
Judged purely on accumulated wealth not that of mind
Health is administered to only a few
Whilst the moral minded they fall behind.

Unfair as it is this trip called life
Rewarding the fortunate with that of fortune
Leaving the bottom rung people to try to equal
To live a life beyond their means
Unwilling victims in your murderous sequel
Make your mess, for it’s them that cleans

If I can see then I will need
I cannot miss what I have not got
So be careful in your enticements
Beware of the rot

amazing!!!
I loved this poem...

I was thrown around at the beginning at first not sure where the immediate direction was taking me, but mid-way through there was no turning back. Completely drew me in.

*thumbs up*
awesome job.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
