I lost a twin your husband
No time for me
I thought of you
No time to grieve
I miss you Dan

I felt your pain
Death came you couldn't believe
Not as a wife but I loved you
You called me your angel
Each sunday morn

Then sickness intered in

You carried your cross
Never complained
Terrible pain within your chest
This time I wasn't there

I am so aggrieved you suffered losses too.
So many losses. I empathize deeply. Know all about it.
At these times it comes yet more to the fore in consciousness.
So tender and compassionate a poem.!
