What you did in your past, you carried in your heart. Six years in isolation, usually divides a man apart.
You co-founded a gang that grew nation wide, I believe thats why they won't grant you clemecy, they just don't want you to remain alive.
Victims that were lost, won't ever be brought back, God knows you redeemed within your heart; you even wrote books to help youths get back on track.
Words you spoke helped save many lives, the first gang peace treaty was successful, it was your words that stuck in their minds.
Teachers, Counslers, and P.O's, would ask "you," for advice. Congraulations for being a nominee for the noble peace prize, I just wished people would get the hate out their eyes, because kids can only relate to those who seen death, through their eyes.
Four months ago I did a speech on you, even though my teacher said your voice would never get through; I laughed and told her, that your words would go nation wide, and that your story would make news.
December 13, at 12:01am, the government will do something they shouldn't of dared. In a world in need of hope, regardless of your past, they put the wrong man in the chair.

wow this one so greatly written is hard to coment on.
Thanks for bringing me up to date on tookie. I've seen some on the news but this write is enlightening.
personally I don't believe in the capital punishment as one life for another jus goes on-n-on.
Tho I have a nepheiw that got life without parolel for shooting his wife's friend in cold blood. Now he might get a grip in prison, I don't really know, only God can know that. Still I wouldn't want him to get climacy 'cause he jus might get ****** of at me next.
I think tookie's legand will stand 4 ever and touch many lives thru out eternity.
As far as knowing what's right or wrong here who am I to say?
Keep up the great writi g as U are on a misssion your thoughts etc. are now a legend beside him.
luv, huggs, prayer,
emy |

The state did the right thing by executing him. He murdered FOUR people in cold blood and co-founded the Crips...you think writing a few children's books about the dangers of gangs equates redemption for this scum? Maybe what you don't know is that Tookie never apologized for any of the crimes he committed or any of the crimes countless crimes and murders committed by the gang he founded. In towns of under 10,000, all across america you can see CRIP 4 LIFE spraypainted on the sides of buildings, and in cities all across america, thousands have died because of the violence of his gang. Clemency? Impossible. What happened today was justice.
By the way, he was executed by lethal injection, not the electric chair. |

Yo Bro the Crips is a ruthless gang u should know I am from NY and now we have Crip n BLoods Latin Kings and all... a lot of people are still being gunned downed due to gang violence...
I appreciate a man to turn completely away from his wickedness sometimes that is a very hard obligation... to stay commited to because of our temptations. luring us back in...
YO Crips was created in vain
many victems were slain
even people that wasn't envolved in a gang
So why feel the death sentence wrong and feel Tookies pain...
Hes going to a better place to replace this crooked place called America
the gov. corrupted us drug implanted us now saying why you trust us....
I'm sorry for tookie being apart of such
Ruthless Organization becasue in the end you see the real man in me....
He turned from his ultimate fantasy and was committed to helping all nationalities...
with a chance at life..
So he wasn't true to the game staying down no matter how hard the pain..
Thats why I appreciate his GREAT life which was ended in murder...
Peace & LOVE
Biggups

Great write my friend. I wrote a poem today after I found out Arnold wouldn't grant him clemency and the state of California murdered him. It's called "Murder by Lethal Injection". I think you will enjoy it. I do not understand all this killing. Why is it wrong for one to kill but not another? Tookie also clamied his innocence to the crimes of which he was convicted of. He was convicted because he was black and in a gang and they needed someone to pay for the crime. Happens all too much in this great country. If you're poor and you can't afford a good lawyer, you are screwed. I am mourning the loss today of a man who was murdered. MURDERED. Peace to all, Laura |

we do not have the right to take a life...whether it is one person or a government...and those that have walked the walk and change to help others avoid the same fate need special consideration for they can make a difference
