Apologies…
They are all I ever hear anymore.
“I’m sorry you hate it here.”
“I’m sorry you can’t go home…
This is your home now….”
“I’m sorry your cutting again because of the move”
“I’m sorry you have no friends”
“I’m sorry I cheated on you with a guy…
I was just curious. It won’t happen again, I swear”
“I’m sorry I cheated on you…. at least this time it was a girl.”
“I’m sorry I haven’t called. I was at a halloween party…no…nothing happened. Don’t worry.”
“I’m sorry but I saw him with John at the halloween party.”
“I’m sorry John and I went as far as you and me had at the party. I just wanted to know…
It was stupid and I’m sorry”
“I’m sorry I gave your boyfriend head at the party. I knew you two were still together. It didn’t seem like a big deal to me but I’m sorry that you’re upset about it.”
“I’m sorry I can’t talk to you”
“I’m sorry for calling your aunt a retard. I know she had downs syndrome.
But you are a retard just like your retarded aunt!”
“I’m sorry that you feel horrible”
“I’m sorry that you have lost your chance at college”
“I’m sorry that you lost your one true passion…”
“I’m sorry that you feel lost and despised by the world….
But you brought it upon yourself you know”
“I’m sorry that you are smarter than your own English teacher….”
Everyday I hear these apologies….and every time I hear them…I have to face reality all over again….hearing “I’m sorry” makes me feel even worse because I have to relive my hard times all over again….it doesn’t change a thing saying “I’m sorry”…so why do we say it so much?

Are you kidding me, people only say their sorry so they can sleep better at night. Everyone just seems to hate everyone now adays. Its alright though we all live in our own dreams, or our own nightmares, some day we'll all wake up.
