Words on paper do nothing to change things
Sometimes I think it’d be nice if they could
Cause I could fill thousands of pages with writing
And create a world where life goes, the way I think it should
Everybody would get what they deserve
There’d be no hunger, injustice, or greed
People would care what they did to eachother
And no one would want so much more than they need
Not everything would be perfect
Because nothing could be as boring as that
There’d be things to strive for, challenges, changes
Just so much more good, and so much less bad
Everyone would wake up happy to be alive
Ready for joy that living another day brings
No big struggles or problems that turn their life into pain
I wish words on paper could actually change things

Words on paper do change things, reading your poem makes me think how people should be happy to be alive. I am. A brilliant write. I liked this very much. |

I agree with the first comment. Words on a paper change much; it just depends on who they are read to. Democratic leaders are chosen through words on a piece of paper, it's their voices being brought to the people of what they want accomplished-though they may not all be true or just-they still made an affect on people. I really enjoyed reading this, i certainly think this poem should be heard. keep up the good work
