Your words have set in motion
deeply settled, ambling emotions
awakened long forgotten devotions
of a pained heart without intentions
of loving an angel in his condition
But for your scented words
a soul may have left this world
in sorrow and his love, blurred
consumed in hatred’s flood
lavished with human blood
love is lost, I fear
But for you my dear
praise the heavenly bearer
whose words you spoke clearer
a lost love has become dearer
