Fool's Eulogy

On freshly painted lips, still a lingering taste
of a positive spin, on a monotonous waste
This alter ego of a silver lining
provokes a second-hand script, that needs refining
A red-faced shamble of a one-sided affair
ignite twelve percent truths, with nothing to compare
Of course it's forgotten, why wouldn't it be?
Why stand and fight, when you can turn tail, and flee?
Suffer the wrath of an unrealized expectation
guilty of a victimized interpretation
On one hand, a promising memory
the flip side, a gluttonous mockery
Never designed to be remembered, or even to haunt
Not meant to experience love, merely to have it taunt
An endless stream of pride-bashing remorse
reality floods in with cataclysmic force
Swept up, something not easy to replace
dashed hopes, that were so callously erased

(((((((((((((((((((( Scorpenatoreriffic ))))))))))))))))))))
You know I speak the truth with I say I can feel your pain.
*relates all too well to the abuse of a liar*
Such pain and emotion consistently expressed in the beautiful fashion of the Scorpenator!!!!
You always have such beautiful flow no matter what you're writing about.
We can't all be jerks. You will experience love. Don't give up, PerfectoScorp!!! You're too good for that...too strong.
The DetectoScorp will weed out the losers and will find that one treasure waiting for you at the other end of the rainbow.
A brilliant Scorpendous write! As always never disappointing.
Take care,
TIMbo
:-)

Oh my dearest Scorp, Chin up sweet girl.
I know you've been hurt one too many times my dear friend, but they're not all like that as "TIM" says. You shall find a true loving man who shall sweep you off ur feet and give you all the love and respect that u deserve Scorp. You deserve the best that life has to offer. You are a wonderful and special young lady. May love reign in your heart once again real soon.
A very well expressed and penned down piece of poetry. You never disappoint ur reader Scorp. You always produce outstanding writes to keep ur reader captivated from start to finish. Although I wished it was a happier subject.
Much love n hugs to u my dear friend. Chin up I'm always here for u.

Hmm really good poem I liked how it flowed
and how beautifully poetic it was. The ending
was brilliant as well although really sad. I
hope things become "happy" again for you.

this poem touched me. I felt the pain and emotions in it. One day you will find the one that makes the world fade away you can't rush it. Much love.

You seem to be in alot of emotional anguish lately Scorp. I sure do hope things get brighter for you in the new year. This is dreadfully sad, especially the ending. I enjoyed the way you wrote this either way. Take Care my dear. |

i absolutely love your title, being this one is from
like a decade ago, and i'm pretty sure things are a lot
better and happier for you these days, saying that- ~this
poem reminds me of some i wrote about dufas' in
general, it is perfected in style, flow and the hearts many
trials which only one who has gone through this one
sided love can truly appreciate, beautifully penned!
hugs n' love nessa |
