The Hurt Of A Small Community

here i am, on kangaroo island
i hate living where i do
its such a close knit community
everyone knows about you

rumors start so easily here
some gossip is just not right
instead of just getting along
we all seem to fight

im so glad to be leaving this hole
where the lies just grow and grow
but when i leave i will say goodbye
to the horrible people i know

You have the right idea. Keep moving forward. The only thing that can stop your forward progress is you..the rest is all detail. "Keep on keepin' on.."
