Ticking Time Clock,
Heresy
Look in my eyes
Deeper,
Fall into the shallowness
and make me feel weaker
The minute clicks on
One step closer
Just another pointless exit that I make so well.
That's all i'm good for,
exits for the existing
Pull my hair back,
Look at my face
Pale cast over hurtful words
Still not good enough
Another minute goes by
Another,
Another
I layed my head back,
No thoughts in my head.
"That's a change"
What a change
One so vacant and pointless
Ask me once more,
'What are you thinking?'
Once more I will reply with a passionate stoicism
Paradox
That's an amusing word
One that encases this night.
Every night
Every night that oppurtunity does not exist,
in the eyes of the existing.
One more minute to go
You get up to leave, and I see your apathetic goodbye
as painted words not meant for me.
Time's up.
Time to leave
Time to sleep for another dream
Another day of Heresy

this write knocked me off my feet. well actually i was sitting when i read it so it knocked me off my seat."I layed my head back,
No thoughts in my head.
"That's a change"
What a change
One so vacant and pointless"
if only we could surrender knowledge and the thirst for it. For me, i never get a moment that isn't bombarded with ideas, concepts ways to falsify what i know as truth. a thought for every second and it's so smothering. But i wouldn't trade it, ignorance for bliss i mean. Your description sounds like an actual event, a memory of a night. the night of paradox. only to open your eyes to another morning of heresy. but isn't the entire world composed of heretics. from the beginning we are held hostage by it, imposed by the thought that words and actions are two different things and that no one MEANS to harm you. what an easy exit for the existing. those who don't play fool to heresy will pay the price of honesty. to the whole world " I CAN'T F***ING SEE WHAT YOU'RE SAYING!"
as for this write is was soaking in beauty and truth. I probably was way off on my interpretation but it was beautiful to me.
