Not a mate
When I said
I was the end of the road
Not as lover
But friend
I would stand by you
Not ever would
I intentionally
Hurt or cause
Trouble to anyone
Just stated what I felt
Not going
To go through
Another freeze
You ended the friendship
Not I

Good for You Shari, I've had relationships like the one you explained here too. Seems like all you do is endure.....and then finally you just give up.....and now matter for what?
This poem was great in my estimate.......and I can surely feel the hurts that you went though!
Love you simple approach, few words, but yours always pack a wallop!
