Lives get lost in motion
A simple glance or touch
Words that fall on emptiness
Drowning in the rush
Signs can be misleading
Images will fade
Hours pass by in seconds
Becoming blurred by days
Encounters drift by slowly
With no one holding tight
Falling by the wayside
Dreams slip out of sight
Feelings ache inside
A future never seen
Everything’s forgotten now
Somewhere in between

How did you come to that conclusion in your poem it just flows to a path of emptiness.
But even there people are found... I wonder what inspried you to write this because it does mean something special to me.... |
