Embodiment of An Angel

Contributed by ManowarManiac on Friday, 24th January 2003 @ 10:40:00 AM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

Throughout the heavens and eternity
you have soared with majestic wings
possessing a beauty forever cherished
never to be matched by any earthly beings
At the very moment you began to descend
the sky fell captive to your angelic light
you were willing to leave paradise behind
so we could meet on that fateful night

My spirit had harbored a darkened past
loneliness was the only demon I feared
like the enchanting birth of a falling star
into my life you then suddenly appeared
You made everything worthwhile again
replacing cynical resolve with self esteem
I see the future through your crystal eyes
as my mind is free to forever more dream

Your hands reached out to guide my way
at the time I most needed some direction
and bridged my once incomprehensible gap
between past sorrows and lack of affection
A passionate rapture will embrace our souls
while the winds of our desires begin to blow
when the clouds of fortune storm upon us
effortlessly our love will then begin to grow
