Lifepoems

I was all alone,
My heart turned to stone.
No one knew my pain,
I stood alone, in the rain.
All I felt was grief.
I was a colorless leaf.
All I could do was cry.
My life was a starless sky.
I felt I had no worth,
I was being stepped upon, like earth.
Then I found someone,
Who brought me back into the sun.
They were there for me,
They became my tree.
I am no longer salty, or sour.
I am a blossoming flower.
Though I lose tear after tear,
It is time for me to face a new frontier.
Life has no guarantee,
It is the waters of the sea.

Didn't like the rhyming - sounded forced at times.
Nice imagery though. |
