for some, it is the gentle rolling of the waves.
for others, it is bathing in the sun’s warm rays.

for some, it may be crying to a good book
for others, having coffee, talking in a nook

for some, it may be sharing their many lifes tales.
for others, it may be watching a family of whales

for some, it is playing all day on the beach
for others, when the stars are barely out of reach

i will tell you now. this is my favorite place.
alone and cuddled up in your warm embrace
