ILL NEVER MAKE IT TO THAT PROMISED LAND

Contributed by outlaw_mutiny on Friday, 9th December 2005 @ 10:49:10 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

i drink so hard to escape the things i feel
pain and sorrow comes and goes but nothings ever real
i've done things i regret
but reprucition hasn't found me yet
i've been so far gone i could barely stand
I'LL NEVER MAKE IT TO THAT PROMISED LAND
i've done my share of paying dues
no matter how hard i search im outta clues
i've said things a man should never say
i'm never surprised when things don't go my way
as i whipe the blood from my dying hand
I'LL NEVER MAKE IT TO THAT PROMISED LAND
i've had love and i've had lust
but never a soul i could trust
i have let all of my good friends down
guess thats why they cant be found
i seem to have led myself astray
it seems i'll be lost till my dying day
good days are but a grain of sand
I'LL NEVER MAKE IT TO THAT PROMISED LAND
i've broken some hearts including my own
so it serves me right to die alone
my days are numbered so i've been told
well thats fine cause this life is getting old
i've been so vein never excepting a hand
I'LL NEVER MAKE IT TO THAT PROMISED LAND
i spend my time drownding in sorrow
too good to steal too proud to borrow
i'm weary and old beyond my years
all the great lakes couldn't hold my tears
as the angel of death takes my hand
I'LL NEVER MAKE IT TO THAT PROMISED LAND
