i have to learn to face my fear,
and forget those thoughts that i still fear,
forget the love i feel, forget the ies that i still hear,
i have to move on...and start to forget...
i have to live this life, and stop the regret,
i have to pretend, pretend its all ok,
have to hide my scars...and hope i'll be ok...
i have to face my fear...
and the thoughts that drove me near...
i have to live my life...even if she isint here,
i have to trust again, forgive and forget,
i have to live my life, the life that i regret,
i have to hide my past......and pretend its all ok...

this was good. moving on is difficult, and i know you have probably heard this 50 times and you dont need ot hear it again, but only time will heal.
I hope to see more. keep up the good work.

the format of this wasnt very strict, but even so, the format was too redundant for this piece. there is a limited vocabulary, too many elipses, a lot of anaphora, and the same rhymes used over and over with a not so strict rhyme scheme. this wasnt really previewed over either, with the obvious typos popping up. a good thing about this is that i could hear it in my head. but overall this piece seems to be written for more of a personal reason than a poetic one, so whatever suits the reason. |
