Life's Ticking

Contributed by Stalkee on Friday, 24th January 2003 @ 09:20:00 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

"He's such a quiet boy and he is such a freak"
Thats what everybody around the school thought of me
But who would be the one to break the news to mom and dad
In the way that I had decided to die

"What's that he does? Tell me that again?"
Throughout the school the word had spread
That I had such an obsession with slicing myself
And now I have been verbally abused

Well I'll never forget what someone had said to me
No I won't forget what they had said to me
Life's a ticking and it's ticking
Like a clock until the end
But when will the end come for you?

No one seems to care if I live or die
They are all pushing me over the edge
Do you want to see me live?
Do you want to see me die?

Well I'm in this little tiny corner against the wall
Have the razor in my hands ready to end this life
People now are screaming for my sanity to save my life
Too late now, I have only a few breaths left...

Well I'll never forget what someone had said to me
No I won't forget what they had said to me
Life's a ticking and it's ticking
Like a clock until the end
Now it's finally come for me

It's all their faults they couldn't stand me
They couldn't push aside the differences and make peace
They had to go act all big and start verbally abusing me
Well it's all because of them now I hope they understand

"He was a quiet boy, but now he's dead"
That's what they say about me all the time
"Where do you suppose he is right now?"
"Singing with the angels or crying with the fallen?"

Well I'll never forget what someone had said to me
No I won't forget what they had said to me
Life's a ticking and it's ticking
Like a clock until the end
Now it's finally come for me
