Look into the yonder

Topic: Lifepoems

Look onto to the water
See the reflection's stance
What happened to these people?

Given a second chance
Tears of sorrow fall,
As visions of the horrible instance
Traverse throughout my mind.
A horrible accident in the past transpired

The hurt comes flooding back
Wrecked into a world of fury
Wrapped in a blanket of ice
So terrified and distraught
Lost in a moment of memory
That last night we ever fought

Snowfall blissfully descending
As the dance came to a end
Driving through the winter air
Traveling till no end
The radio on silent

Our noise was all that was needed
It was all that we could bear
As the argument begins to escalate
We couldn't hear anything more
I want so not to hear him
But only for him to hear me
I tell him I want out
And open up the door
He veers to the left
The anger rages on

The roads are wet and icy
A blizzard begins to roar
The ice is jagged and hard
A rush to the glacial floor
A stream of iciness
Fills the back seat of his car
For a moment I am in shock
Trying to escape
Soon everything is numb
Soon everything is blank

Torn from the wreckage
Am I ever to be the same?
How much will life really change?
I look into the future
But
Nothing do I see.
I only wish I knew
What is to become of me.

Tears have fallen restless
In their deep and weary descent
Transparent to the eye
My soul cannot forget
Drowning in the memory
Knowing what has happened
Feeling all regret
It hurts so deep inside.
My life's now inside-out

The dreadful day
in memory
The promise-filled day
Turned to
Frightening darkness
