I know i let you go
I truely didn't know
that she would come around
how could i know i let you down..........
And so she stole your heart
breaking everything in our relationship apart.
thinking about times we shared
Now it seems like you don't care
i want you with me
I know that we were meant to be
And it just not fair...
cause you know that during those times she wasn't there
And now i see you in my dreams..
the place where you could be with me.
I feel alright tonight
knowing that i could hold you in my dreams all night
]

It's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.
A sad heartbreaking write. You never know what the future holds. A very well penned poem filled with such sadness. I wish u all the best.

i dont believe in that saying, 'its better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all'. Because you would have never known what you're missing.
But as far as your poem goes.. its very real and touching. I can relate to your poem. Thank you for posting it. |
